Daksh's mahayagya ceremony gets ruined due to his strong opposition for Mahadev. Sati is inconsolable after facing Daksh's atrocities and vows to burn herself in the fire. Vijaya is horrified as she overhears Saptrishi Bhrigu saying that the whole universe will be destroyed if Sati comes to Yagya without Lord Shiva. Lord Shiva tells Sati that he will accept her as his wife when she will be aware of her powers. Daksh throws Vijaya out of his house for calling Lord Shiva superior to him.

Lord Shiva fumes at Sati for testing Sri Ram and refuses her to consider as his wife.
